8th Annual Sensory Inclusive Santa 2024 | Episcopal Church of the Nativity | Huntsville, AL

Our Annual Sensory Inclusive Santa event is beloved by the local community. In partnership with KultureCity, Madison Behavior Therapy /WellStone will provide a quiet and inclusive environment for those with sensory sensitivities to visit with Santa.

For children with special needs and their families, going to visit Santa at the mall can be completely overwhelming. That’s why we have created an environment where families can enjoy a special meeting with Santa that they will never forget!

While the event is FREE, registration is required. Each “ticket” reserves a specific 5-minute time slot in the Living Room with Santa. During the visit only the family, Santa, a Registered Behavior Technician, and a professional photographer are present. This allows the child and his/her family to have a special experience with Santa without becoming overwhelmed by sensory stimuli. When a family reserves their ticket, they are selecting a specific time to see Santa, which keeps them from having to wait for a long period of time in an uncomfortable environment.

In addition to receiving special time with Santa, each child in the family will receive a free gift from Santa (yes, siblings receive gifts too!) and professional family photos. Every year a professional photographer is present to capture the family’s Santa experience. Many families that have children with special needs do not have professional photos because it is too overwhelming for their child to complete a photo session. Our photographer will capture these moments with Santa, and each family will have access to their private gallery of images.

Sensory Inclusive Santa will be held on December 7 th, 2024 at the Church of the Nativity. Tickets are FREE, however we do ask that each family registers for a “ticket” for a specific time slot.
