The Florida Aquarium is hosting a sensory-friendly Guppyween on Saturday, October 28. Held between the hours of 8am and 9:30am, lights and sounds will be adapted accordingly throughout the event for individuals with sensory differences.
Sensory Guppyween provides a Halloween Aquarium experience specifically tailored for the enjoyment of individuals with sensory differences and their families.
Boo-gie to the monster mash during Guppyween with sensory-friendly Halloween games, creepy critter encounters, visits from our resident Mad Scientists and more.
The entire campus will be open for exploring; including engaging touch habitats featuring moon jellies, stingrays, anemones and so much more! The Splash Pad will also be open – so plan to bring a bathing suit, water shoes (optional) and a towel. Café Ray will also be open during this event.
The event will feature animal encounters, character appearances with our own Rocky & Tango and a sensory-friendly Halloween surprises.
Tickets for the event are $10 per guest and free for members. The Aquarium will open to the public at 9:30am but guests are invited to stay beyond the event.
It is the goal of The Florida Aquarium to remove barriers to participation of Guppyween; admission for this event is reserved for families and children with sensory differences and/or accessibility challenges.
Admission to Day of Discovery is only for families and children with sensory differences and/or accessibility challenges. Special effects, lights and music will be adapted for those with sensory differences.

Parking for this event is free in The Florida Aquarium lot located north of the Aquarium off the east side of Channelside Drive at York Street. Tickets are non-transferrable.
