Sensory Sensitive Santa | Surprise Stadium | Surprise, AZ

We are excited to announce our continued partnership with the City of Surprise Parks and Recreation Department and TEAM 4 Kids. This is the Autism Society of Greater Phoenix’s 11th Annual Sensitive Santa Experience for those with Sensory Challenges and our 19th event! This event provides a supportive environment eliminating long lines, bright lights and loud noises that can trigger sensory sensitivities for someone on the spectrum.
Join us on Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at the Surprise Stadium from 9am – 3pm to experience this amazing event. While families wait to visit with the Holiday Icon, they will be able to chat with vendors, experience games and crafts, partake in snacks and goodies, all of which leads up to a photo opportunity during a private one on one visit with Santa. Activities will take place outdoors. Visits with Santa will be indoors.

There is a $5 fee to guarantee a visit with Santa. Walk-ins are welcome to enjoy the event but cannot be guaranteed a visit with Santa due to the popularity of this event.

Registration is done through the City of Surprise. To register for the event, click the RSVP button below.

Tips for Registration:

Please note the City has changed their registration system. Returning customers, logging into the new Surprise Rec for the first time should click forgot your password and then enter your email address from the old Surprise Rec system. You will be sent an email verification and be prompted to create a new password.

2. Select view sub-activities next to Adaptive Classes & Events
3. Select view sub-activities next to Sensitive Santa
4. Click enroll now on the time slot that you are looking for.*

ASL Interpreter available from 10am to noon.

Please ONLY select the parent/guardian who is registering for the event then “add to cart”. There will be individual prompts to provide further information on each family member once you click the “check out” tab.

*Time slots are NOT actual appointment times. These are time blocks to help ease flow; we do not guarantee a time. We will do our best to move visits along, but we ask that you be respectful and give grace for a family that needs a little extra time to acclimate to their environment.

Sensitive Santa will be closed from 12-1 PM to allow Santa and his team to take a break for lunch!
