A Year with Frog & Toad – Sensory Friendly Performance | Chicago Children’s Theatre | Chicago, IL

April 28 @ 9:30 am 11:30 am America/Chicago

Children’s author and illustrator Arnold Lobel’s beloved characters hop from the page to the stage in the Tony-nominated musical A Year With Frog And Toad, based on his popular children’s book that follows two best friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and grumpy, but lovable Toad – through four fun-filled seasons.

Sensory Friendly Performances of A Year with Frog & Toad will be offered on April 27, 2024 and April 28, 2024 at 9:30am (CST).

Tailored specifically for guests on the autism spectrum or with other sensory sensitivities, we offer performances with sensory modifications to production elements such as lighting, sound, and volume.

Audience members should feel comfortable taking breaks from these performances and are welcome to take advantage of a quiet room and designated family restrooms.

The cast and crew will be trained and prepared to create a safe and welcoming environment so that everyone can experience the show in their own unique way.
