Kids with Autism in Georgia have an opportunity this year to participate in family-favorite Easter activities thanks to a partnerships between, 1201 Café, and Hearts 2 Hugs.

This is a special invite for families and children on the Autism spectrum, as well as children with other developmental or cognitive disabilities who may benefit from enjoying this event.

Booth Western Art Museum seeks to unite people with art by creating a platform for multiple perspectives and removing barriers to access. The Museum is committed to providing a welcoming and accessible space for all patrons, regardless of age, gender, race, or disability.

Visual schedules, a sensory friendly map and social stories are available for download on our website under Plan Your Visit (also available onsite).

Sensory bags will be available to check out and a family quiet space will be available for anyone who needs to catch their breath.

The Museum opens for families with children on the autism spectrum and children with sensory processing disorders.

This experience includes a sensory-modified setting, limited admission, and sound and lighting adjustments. Callie the Therapy Dog attends Sensory Friendly Sessions. She is available for pets and snuggles at the CMA Stage.

We also have a social story to help prepare families for their Museum experience.

Admission will be $17.95 per person for non-members and free for members. Advance ticket purchase is required.

Sensory Friendly Sundays occur during the Museum’s designated Session A time – from 9:30AM to 12:30PM.
